The Complaints
The complaints in this case arose following the applicant’s attendance at a police office, during his subsequent arrest and when he was held in police custody. We have reviewed the handling of five complaints, namely that:
On 29 November 2021 within a named police office, Sergeant A shouted at you and was full of rage;
- On 06 December 2021 Sergeant B, Constable C and Constable D searched your house for drugs without a warrant or your permission;
- On 06 December 2021 whilst being conveyed to the named police office you considered Sergeant B to be taking pleasure in your anxiety;
- On 06 December 2021 whilst being conveyed to a named police office an unknown female voice on the radio called you “that one” which you were offended by; and
- On 06 December 2021 whilst being held at a named police office you were placed in the furthest away cell which you think was done in malice.
