The Complaints
The complaints in this case arose when the applicant made reports to Police Scotland concerning his neighbour.
We have reviewed the handling of three complaints, namely that:
- Police Scotland failed to take action when the applicant reported concern regarding his neighbour’s CCTV;#
- An officer behaved in an intimidating manner towards the applicant when visiting his neighbour’s property; and
- On 13 January 2022, officers failed to provide the applicant with an update regarding the retrieval of his property.
Police Scotland's Decision
Police Scotland did not uphold any of the applicant’s complaints.
Our Findings
We have found that Police Scotland handled all of the applicant’s complaints to a reasonable standard.
