The Complaints
The complaint in this case arose after Police Scotland implemented a number of short notice road closures during the COP26 event.
We have reviewed the handling of a single complaint, namely that:
that Police Scotland failed to acknowledge the issue of school children affected by the road closures in the local area due to COP 26.
Police Scotland’s Decision
Police Scotland recorded that the applicant’s complaint was not upheld.
Our Findings
We have found that Police Scotland did not handle the applicant’s complaint to a reasonable standard. No further action is required in this connection.
