The Complaints

The complaints in this case arose when the applicant reported allegations of fraud and threatening behaviour, by members of an academic organisation, to Police Scotland.

We have reviewed the handling of two complaints, namely:

1. that Police Scotland failed to investigate the applicant’s allegation of fraud by members of an academic organisation; and

2. that the applicant’s subsequent report of threatening behaviour by a senior member of this academic organisation was not investigated by Police Scotland;
