The Complaints
The complaints in this case arose after a report that the applicant’s son made to Police Scotland in relation to him being assaulted and threatened by an adult male. We have reviewed the handling of a single complaint, namely that:
- following a report that Child A made to Police Scotland, officers failed to attend the incident and return him home.
Police Scotland’s Decision
Police Scotland did not uphold the applicant’s the applicant’s complaint .
Our Findings
We have found that Police Scotland the applicant’s complaint to a reasonable standard.
No further action is required from Police Scotland in relation to the complaint considered in this review.
