Where relevant, we publish our responses to Freedom of Information requests under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).
This response addressed the following query:
- “What proportion and number of staff involved in the direct process of investigation / decision making have a background in police service?”
Thirty seven of the fifty nine staff in our Investigations department have a background in a police service. This is a proportion of 63%.
