The Complaints
The complaint in this case arose after the applicant made reports of stalking to Police Scotland. The applicant was dissatisfied with a review of her reports carried out by a named police division as a result of a previously upheld complaint.
We have reviewed the handling of a single complaint, namely that:
- the applicant is dissatisfied with the outcome of the review undertaken by a named police division into her reports of stalking.
Police Scotland's Decision
Police Scotland did not uphold the applicant’s complaint.
Our Findings
We have found that Police Scotland handled the applicant’s complaint to a reasonable standard.
No further action is required of Police Scotland in relation to the complaint considered in this review.
