In four complaint handling reviews (CHRs) published today the PIRC found that of 18 individual complaints reviewed, eight were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland. 

In three of the four cases, the Review Team has asked Police Scotland to take further action, issuing eight recommendations, one reconsideration direction and one learning point. 

The PIRC expects the recommendations and reconsideration directions to be implemented within two months.
