In 11 Complaint Handling Reviews (CHRs) published by the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) today, Monday 4 November 2019, the Review Team found that 29 of 36 individual complaints were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland.

The handling of a further seven complaints was found to be insufficient and six recommendations, two reconsideration directions and three learning points were issued to Police Scotland to address these.
