The PIRC is investigating the discharge of a Taser at a 39-year-old man in Kilmarnock.

A spokesperson for the PIRC’S Investigations Team said:
“We are carrying out an investigation after Police Scotland officers discharged a Taser at a 39-year-old man during an incident in Kilmarnock on Thursday 10 October 2019.
“The case was referred by Police Scotland and a report will be submitted to the Chief Constable in due course.”
