The Police Investigatons & Review Commissioner (PIRC) is investigating the death in custody of a 24-year-old man at Clydebank Police Station.
A spokesperson for the PIRC’s Investigation Team said:
“We are investigating the death in custody of a 24-year-old man at Clydebank Police Station in Glasgow on 23 December 2018.
“The investigation will focus on the circumstances leading up to the man’s death.
“The incident was referred to the PIRC by the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and a report will be submitted to them in due course.”
