In two complaint handling reviews (CHRs) published today, Monday 14 October 2019, the PIRC found that out of eight individual complaints reviewed, five were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland.

The Review Team found that three complaints were not handled to a reasonable standard and has made three recommendations for further action for Police Scotland.

The PIRC expects the recommendations to be completed within two months.
