In seven complaint handling reviews (CHRs) published today, Monday 23 September 2019, the PIRC found that of 27 individual complaints reviewed, 19 were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland. 

In four of the seven cases, the Review Team has recommended further action by Police Scotland, including issuing nine recommendations and one learning point.

The PIRC expects the recommendations and learning point to be completed within two months.
