An investigation by the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) following a fatal road crash in Glasgow has been concluded.

The Commissioner was instructed by the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) to examine the circumstances leading up to the incident on 29 November 2015 in relation to a collision between a vehicle and a taxi carrying two passengers.

The 57-year-old woman died at the scene and the 52-year-old man was treated in hospital for his injuries.

A report on the Commissioner's findings has been sent to the COPFS for their consideration.
