In five complaint handling reviews (CHRs) published today the PIRC found that of 18 individual complaints reviewed, 14 were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland.

In four of the five cases, the Review Team has recommended further action by Police Scotland, including five recommendations and one learning point.

The PIRC expects the recommendations and learning point to be completed within two months.
