The independent inquiry remains ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service in due course.
A spokesperson for the PIRC said:
“Following an incident on Friday 26 June, 2020, in West George Street, Glasgow, the PIRC, in accordance with our statutory powers, received an instruction from the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) to carry out an independent investigation into the death of Badreddin Abdalla Adam Bosh, 28, who was shot by armed police during the incident.
“Once our investigation is concluded, a report on the Commissioner’s findings will be sent to the COPFS for consideration. It would be inappropriate to comment further.”
