The Police Investigations & Review Commissioner (PIRC) is carrying out an investigation following an incident in which police discharged a Taser at a man in Dundee. 

A spokesperson for the PIRC said:

"We are carrying out an investigation after Police Scotland officers discharged a Taser at a 36-year-old man during an incident in Dundee on 22 November 2019.
"The incident was referred to us by Police Scotland and a report will be sent to the Chief Constable in due course."
