The PIRC is carrying out an investigation after the body of a 30-year-old man was recovered from the River Clyde in Glasgow. 

A spokesperson for the PIRC’s Investigations Team said:

“We are carrying out an investigation following the death of a man whose body was recovered from the River Clyde in Glasgow on Wednesday 4 July 2019.

“The incident was referred to us by the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) and a report will be submitted to them in due course.”
