In two complaint handling reviews (CHRs) published today, Monday 7 October 2019, the PIRC found that of eight individual complaints reviewed, three were handled to a reasonable standard by Police Scotland.

In both cases, the Review Team has recommended further action by Police Scotland, including issuing five recommendations and three learning points.

The PIRC expects the recommendations and learning points to be completed within two months.
